(First round is 8:30 a.m.)
Sections: Top 4 sections, A,B,C and D. 8 players each. Section’s E and F - 12 players each. Top 8 rated make top sectional, next 8 second sectional and so forth. This event is aimed to give players an opportunity to play serious rated chess under tournament conditions. Organizer reserves right to adjust section sizes if wide rating variance can be avoided.
Prizes: Winner only in top 4 section’s. 1st Place Trophy or $20 Section’s E and F 1st place has option of 1st place trophy, or $20. 2nd place has option of 2nd place trophy, book or $10. Places determined by tie breaks.
Schedule: Round Times/Time controls: Sections A, B, C and D G/60

Rounds
will begin as soon as last game in your sectional is finished. If your game goes
long and you need break, please
request rest period.
Requirements: Open to all K-12 Students, USCF membership is required. Some non-scholastic players maybe included/invited to fill out or make top section stronger.
