Seventy-eight players including 1 grandmaster and 7 masters competed in a chess-filled weekend at the Quality Inn & Suites - Asheville South in Arden, North Carolina on November 21-23, 2003.  Many players played 23 tournament games over the 3 days by competing in Friday and Saturday evening events!
